The diocese of Luebo covers an area of 32,000 km² and belongs to the ecclesiastical province of Kananga. The diocese is located in the city of Tshikapa, which is the central location for the design, coordination and initiation of various social projects.  The Diocese of Luebo is responsible for 17 health facilities, including six general referral hospitals, four secondary hospitals and six referral health centres.

The Apostolic Vicariate of Inírida, with an area of 86,000 square kilometres, is located in eastern Colombia. Of the total population of only 40,000, around 85% belong to indigenous groups. The entire, largely undeveloped region can only be reached by water and, in some places, by aeroplane. Educational work in the vicariate only began in 1944 and has been the main responsibility of the Catholic Church for 26 years. Before that, knowledge was only passed on traditionally within the communities.

The secondary school "Notre Dame de la Sagesse" in the archdiocese of Gitega has provided education to quite a few generations of young Burundians. Its origins date back to 1958, when the former Collège Notre Dame opened its doors to the first 44 pupils in Mushasha.

ETEFOP TSS ‘Ecole Technique de Formation professionnelle’ Vocational Training center is an accredited private technical vocational training centre located in Musanze district, Rwanda. The school is owned by Ruhengeri Catholic church Diocese and it was inaugurated in 2009.

BEGECA supported the project Radio Católica Nacional del Ecuador in the replacement of transmission equipment and modernisation of radio equipment with its technical expertise as well as with funds from the Katholischen Zentralstelle für Entwicklung e. V. (KZE)

The Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd has been in Ecuador for 150 years. The sisters have dedicated their work to social works of care for women, children and adolescents in a state of vulnerability or social risk to their rights.

MSDC (Maison de solidarité de Diabetique au Congo) is a local NGO for diabetics in and around Kinshasa. It offers care services, insulin kits, patient monitoring, nutritional education and finally a sports complex for its patients. MSDC is aimed in particular at people in poor neighborhoods of Kinshasa who cannot afford to benefit from these services.

The Catholic Health Training Institute (CHTI) is one of the key learning institutions in Southern Sudan. After a first equipment of IT material some years ago, BEGECA was able to support the installation of new laptops and the replacement of batteries for the 12 existing laptops. 

BEGECA supported the project of Kinderchirugie in Afrika e.V. in the planning of a photovoltaic system for reliable energy supply of the hospital in Bembéréké with its technical expertise and excellent purchasing conditions as well as with funds from the Katholischen Zentralstelle für Entwicklung e. V. (KZE)
