D. R. CONGO: Solar for Ndekesha Hospital

The diocese of Luebo covers an area of 32,000 km² and belongs to the ecclesiastical province of Kananga. The diocese is located in the city of Tshikapa, which is the central location for the design, coordination and initiation of various social projects.  The Diocese of Luebo is responsible for 17 health facilities, including six general referral hospitals, four secondary hospitals and six referral health centres.

COLOMBIA: 5 Power Towers for indigenous amazonian communities

The Apostolic Vicariate of Inírida, with an area of 86,000 square kilometres, is located in eastern Colombia. Of the total population of only 40,000, around 85% belong to indigenous groups. The entire, largely undeveloped region can only be reached by water and, in some places, by aeroplane. Educational work in the vicariate only began in 1944 and has been the main responsibility of the Catholic Church for 26 years. Before that, knowledge was only passed on traditionally within the communities.

D. R. CONGO: Solar system & solar pump for Diabetic Centre

MSDC (Maison de solidarité de Diabetique au Congo) is a local NGO for diabetics in and around Kinshasa. It offers care services, insulin kits, patient monitoring, nutritional education and finally a sports complex for its patients. MSDC is aimed in particular at people in poor neighborhoods of Kinshasa who cannot afford to benefit from these services.
