The Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd has been in Ecuador for 150 years. The sisters have dedicated their work to social works of care for women, children and adolescents in a state of vulnerability or social risk to their rights.

The Congregation's strategic line of action is ‘Attention and prevention of children and adolescents at high risk (child labour, violence, extreme poverty, migration) promoting the restitution of their rights’.  According to this line of action the congregation has Educational Centres and School Support Centres for children and adolescents with learning problems and school lag.

The project aims to improve the education of children and young people by promoting access to technological learning tools. To make this possible, computers & accessories, interactive displays, tablets, mobile phones & accessories, speakers, routers and printer ink are to be procured for a number of teaching institutions.
