Don Bosco College Bangalore was founded in 2022 with the aim of educating young people to become competent and socially responsible individuals through a holistic and innovative education in the spirit of Don Bosco.

Bangalore ist the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka in the southwest of the subcontinent. In recent years, the city has developed into a center of the Indian software industry, as numerous national and international companies from the computer and high-tech sector have their headquarters here. These companies contribute significantly to the prosperity of a small elite, while just a few meters away ther are slums with millions of people living in extreme poverty.

This project aimed to improve higher education for the marginalized youth at Don Bosco College by setting up a modern IT infrastructure. This schould significantly increase both the training and learning opportunities for students and staff at the college. Through the project, the whole IT Networking, the communication security and public address systems were equipped and renewed. The introduction of high quality IT training that meets international higher education standards will ensure that the skills acquired by students meet the demands of the job market.
